This beach is also known as Blue Ocean Beach and offers a more laid-back atmosphere compared to its neighboring beaches. It stretches from Jalan Melasti to Jalan Werkudara and provides various activities such as swimming, surfing lessons, beach volleyball and soccer matches, sunbathing, and reading. In addition, it is an ideal spot for partygoers with popular rave beach parties featuring renowned DJs and live bands hosted by venues such as Cocoon Beach Club and The Plantation Grill, especially during sunset.

Take a surf class
Legian Beach is an excellent spot for novice surfers due to its reef-free seabed. There are several shops along the beach where you can rent a surfboard by the hour and even receive basic lessons for free. If you prefer to learn from a professional, surf schools are also available nearby. These schools typically begin with lessons at a swimming pool early in the morning before moving on to the actual waves in Legian. Safe, soft boards are used in these classes to help beginners get started.
